The space
Bay Dreaming was designed with families and groups in mind, offering both flexibility and privacy through its unique layout of three wings, each with a full bathroom. The open-concept living and dining areas are perfect for gathering, while the spacious wraparound deck and fenced backyard provide plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the outdoors. The fully equipped kitchen features modern appliances and plenty of counter space to prepare meals easily. High-speed Wi-Fi, laundry facilities, and ample parking add convenience for longer stays. Spend your days exploring the nearby sandy beach and downtown shops, then come home to relax around the firepit or enjoy lawn games like cornhole and croquet in the backyard. Location Bay Dreaming is a short walk (just under a mile) from Sister Bay’s beautiful sandy beach and the bustling downtown area full of shops, restaurants, and local attractions. Enjoy easy access to boating, hiking, and everything Door County has to offer, all while staying in a quiet, wooded neighborhood. House rules • No smoking of any kind — $750 cleaning fee for violations • No glitter or hair dye products — $1,000+ fine due to difficult cleaning and damage • Please respect neighbors and keep noise to a minimum after 10 PM • Primary contact is responsible for all guests along with anyone who enters the home during the stay to abide by these rules. Make sure all flames are fully extinguished before leaving the area. Fireworks are strictly prohibited on the property. No illegal activity of any kind is permitted on the premises, including the use of illegal drugs or internet-based offenses.

This place was so perfect for our group! It has 5 separate bedrooms plus the “2nd living area” was a perfect spot for my grandson. The kitchen was extremely well stocked. We cooked and ate most meals at the house. And each table (in and out) fit our large group of 10. The extra refrigerator in the garage was very helpful. The yard , hammocks and fire pit area were amazing. It’s well stocked with lawn chairs , boogie boards, beach toys, scooters, and tons of outdoor games for the kids. We used everything and had a blast!!Joshua answered every question I had immediately. Even left flowers on my doorstep in honor of my mom’s memorial service! Very kind. We agreed this has been our favorite rental in Door County. Very nice!!

We had a wonderful time at the property. We used the grill, fire pit, outside seating, and the equipment provided in the garage including the dual basketball hoops. The additional refrigerator in the garage can in handy. There was more than enough sleeping accommodations for the 11 people in our party. There was also ample seating on the couches as well as around the dining room table where we played many of the provided games every evening. We can heartily recommend staying at the property and working with Joshua. Truly an enjoyable experience! Gerry Hand

The house is beautiful and updated. It was spotless and well-organized. Many amenities which were listed and some extras, including thoughtful details like laundry detergent, garbage bags, extra toilet paper, dog bowls, baby and toddler supplies, and so on. Our dogs were happy and safely fenced on the deck / in the yard. Our littles loved the cute bunk room, and my elderly parents enjoyed the privacy that came with the unique layout. I saw a total of 3 bugs inside over the course of 5 days - clearly the property had been treated, which was great. The home was very clean and I am PICKY. We were a little unsure what to expect when we heard the property was sold a month or so before our arrival, but Joshua was an excellent host and he was very patient and responsive (I had a lot of questions)! We had a great time and we would definitely book this home again!

This was my first experience with an Airbnb and it was outstanding. The house was beautiful and in a great location for experiencing downtown Sister Bay. There was so much to see and do. I wish we had spent more time. I would say this house is a 5 bedroom, I believe it was listed as a 4 bedroom. There were 3 separate sleeping areas which provided nice privacy for the 3 family groups that travelled with us. Josh provided everything we needed for a great stay. There were games and activities for indoor and outside use and even the fixings for S'mores. We had kids from 0 to 6 years of age and there was plenty to entertain them. We loved the firepit and the porch. Thank you for a great stay, you thought of everything.

We had an amazing stay for my sister’s bachelorette weekend! The open gathering spaces, both indoors and outdoors, at the house were perfect for our group to hang out, play games, and enjoy meals together. We also loved how walkable the location was to downtown Sister Bay. Would definitely recommend for a group getaway!
